Come enjoy 3 days of fishing and friendly competition! Our club host this event as a starter fishing event for the year! Below are some details on this tournament.
Species: Flounder
How to win: We have multiple ways to win. We will take the combined weight of 4 flounder for the entire weekend. The boat with the most weigh wins. We pay down to 5th place. We have a daily largest flounder. We have a closest to the weight each day (magic number). We also will have a payout to the largest flounder of the weekend. Kids have division of their own!
Location: Weigh in is at Curtis Merritt Marina in Chincoteague VA. Boats must leave from a Chincoteague port. Weigh in is at 4pm Fri-Sat, 1pm on Sun.
How to Communicate: The clubs official VHF Channel is 71.
Dinner Fun: A catered dinner at Ropewalk on Saturday Evening. Raffle and 50/50!
Stay: Discounted rooms at the Sea Shell Motel.
Tie ups: Boat slips are available at the marina.
How To Enter: Interested members can sign up at our month meetings starting in March or by contacting us. Last day to register is May 5th.
All captains must be a member of the FSA to be eligible to fish our tournaments. Official rules will be given to the captain at time of registration.
